Captain’s Art Terms of Service
Introduction
These terms of service govern your use of Captain’s Art’s work. By hiring Captain’s Art, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any of these terms, it is suggested you find a new artist to work with.

I. Payment Terms and Agreement
Payment for any form of Captain’s Art’s art is suggested to be one of two ways :
- 50% payment up front and 50% payment upon completion
- 100% payment up front
The commissioner has seven ( 7 ) days to complete the initial payment method.
Failure to adhere to either payment method on time will result in your slot being revoked and the possibility of being blacklisted from any further commissions.

II. Deadlines and Completion
Upon receiving initial payment and the commissioner’s request, Captain’s Art shall begin working on the piece.
The piece shall be sent as a watermarked sketch first within fourteen ( 14 ) days, and the commissioner has seven ( 7 ) days to approve the sketch or specify any changes needed. Once approved the final piece will be worked upon and completed within thirty ( 30 ) days and sent with a watermark until the rest of the payment is completed.
If any personal issues arise ( i.e. illness, family emergency ), notice will be given and the deadline may be extended.

III. Commercial Usage of Art
Captain’s Art and the commissioner agree that the works received shall not be used for commercial purposes unless discussed prior to commissioning.
For work to be used commercially, the commissioner agrees to pay an additional 75% of the original fee.

IV. Non-Payment
Any non-payments made without a legitimate reason will result in blacklisting from any future commissions, as well as possible legal fees depending on severity.
